The New Bike Test 2009
The new modular motorcycle test is introduced from the 27th of April 2009.
It is split into two parts and provides a safer approach to motorcycle riding.
Let us de-mystify the process!
Module 1 will take place off-road and will include exercises designed to assess the rider’s ability to control their machine safely, including hazard avoidance and emergency stop exercises.
Module 2 will include an eyesight test, safety check questions and at least 30 minutes of on-road riding, assessing the rider’s ability to safely interact with other road users.
Once the CBT and motorcycle theory test have been past, you may apply for the first of two modules to complete your practical test.
